@ashwinravi99 I remember the DK stumping. The batsman was Michael vaughan and the bowler was harbhajan singh. We were down 2-0 in the series and ended up winning this last ODI in a low scoring thriller
With Gill and Virat both gone quite early in the Indian innings, what an opportunity for India to test their batting depth which has hardly been tested for a while now, not just this series. Ruturaj at the crease, and KL to come and Nitish who has been groomed at a possible hardik replacement or may even make 11 if at all conditions are too conducive for seam bowling at the RSA worldcup. Westindies will be quite delighted seeing the back of gill as well as virat too but I strongly feel India will welcome this scenario too as they're not challenged enough and this situation definitely enables them that.
I have the hit the Bulls eye as my prediction has gone absolutely perfect. They have made the necessary changes I anticipated. Jadeja is dropped, nitish, siraj and anshul make the 11. I again strongly feel, Jadeja has definitely played his last ODI for India as mentioned in yesterday's post. Definitely like this 11. It's more balanced now with batting till 7, and make no mistake, Anshul can be a handy batter lower down the order. Prasidh injury, Nabi's poor outing in the previous match eventually led to Siraj's inclusion.
My preferred XI for tomorrow's match
Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ruturaj Gaikwad, KL Rahul (wk), Naman Dhir, Nitish Reddy, Anshul Kamboj, Kuldeep Yadav, Gurnoor Brar, Mohammad Siraj
Don't want to experiment too much. Prasidh ruled out so siraj comes in place of him and anshul has a brilliant domestic odi career and he should have been selected ahead of Nabi. Regards Jadeja, he has played his last ODI for India
Disappointing outing for bishnoi so far. 44 runs conceded in just 3 overs. In t20s in Varun's absence he has been given a go by team management. He is yet to make a mark and definitely will lose trust. This opens the doors for kuldeep yadav in T20 format too in case Varun's recovery takes too long.
Asian games Gold medal ๐ match seems to be the repeat of the last year Asia Cup final for Tilak. It just looked like he started off from where he left last year against Pakistan. And this match too this innings came at a crucial juncture especially after India lost two quick wickets in the middle phase. He slowly is becoming the clutch player for india to rely upon. What a 50 considering the magnanimity of the occassion. India end their innings with a huge 211 for 6. Another sure shot gold ๐ฅ loading
What a finish this has been by india especially after losing two quick wickets. Tilak and dube are smashing all over. Their partnership is 62 off just 29 balls and India are 195 for 5 with one over remaining.
Tilak varma is doing just that. Two back to back sixes which take him to 30 off 16 balls. India are 172 for 5 in 18 overs. Two overs remaining. Should get close to 200.
Tilak varma comes to the crease. Key innings for him considering there has always been a question mark on how he plays spin. There can't be better opportunity for him than this to prove himself. With 6 overs to go, he has to bat till the end and take india to an above par score. Meanwhile Shreyas is dismissed and India are 133 for 5 in 14.1 overs

Shreyas and Ishan pair is just doing that. Gradually moving the scoreboard to a safer score and then go hard may be in the final 4 to 5 overs. Partnership now is 35 off 31 balls. Perfect tempo at this time of the innings. India are 128 for 3 in 13 overs
Ishan starts well in this innings too. Half way through and India are 114 for 3. India must play smartly from here on considering a spin conducive pitch. Aiming too big can eventually lead to scoring a below par score. With wickets in hand, a smart batting from here on should easily get them past 200 and that's an outright winning score on this pitch. Complacency can easily cost us 20 to 30 runs
