@HolyDirkness41 @mcuban Selling to the Adelson family was a huge mistake. Look into their history of horrible treatment of employees and very greedy tactics in everything they do. Look at the massive increase in ticket prices since they took over. Dropped our season tickets of 20+ years because of it.

@sadatay_ @mcuban @iztok_franko I loved Nash but he didn’t play much D (Kidd played good D) and he wouldn’t have been an MVP with the Mavs. Losing Nash hurt at the time but it allowed the building of the championship team that did win it all (yes I know that wasn’t the plan but it worked out)

@SkinWade I easily could be wrong - pretty sure there was a chasm between Mark and the org after the trade. He was incredibly upset about the trade and wanted nothing to do with the org (understandably so). Or maybe the org cut off ties? Regardless great to see him back again.

You either had to do an extension while you had him, be 1000% sure he would resign or trade him for assets. You never let a young, talented player go for nothing. Never. That was a disaster also for the Mavs

Tyson - agree a mistake.

Brunson - only mistake was not getting assets for him by trading him if you didn’t want to pay him.

I have dealt with 4 different sales staff members over 25 years and they all have been great. One of them is now a director of sales & I saw him at games occasionally and he always remembered me and said hi.

If he was here when Dirk was 25, Dirk would have been traded also. Dirk couldn’t play D, wasn’t a good rebounder, always rolling his ankles, and went out to party with Nash till all hours at that age

Luka is 25 just like Dirk was.
