The pandemic will end. In one way or another "The Covid Pandemic" will become a piece of history.
What we will be left with is the memory of how we responded to it, of how we behaved.
Protect each other and you will never be afraid to look back at this time and remember.
just remembered when the govt hired someone with an overt history of publishing pro eugenic positions and the appt was rescinded due to the backlash but now only those with good GCSEs are being allowed funding to go to university bc GCSEs are apparently a litmus for IQ?
@AddyAdelaine@criposium Highly recommend @azeezatj@khankfarza and @TripleCripples. @SuriyaAisha is also doing amazing work in this area and recommend their podcast Sickbabe. I also write on the connections between colonialism, culture and disability. 💛
Hi - another day, another question. Can anyone name some Black or Minority Ethnic UK scholars who write about race & disability please? Looking for stuff about race & disability, but most things seem to be written about the US context and I don't have diversity in authorship yet
