If I could eradicate one fallacy from political conversations on this app, it would be the Pundit's Fallacy - the idea that your personal policy ideas and beliefs are coincidentally also the best way to win votes. That's just not true for anyone.

If we could separate "Policy is good/bad" from "Policy will be popular/unpopular" then we could be so much more productive.

I think that my beliefs on immigration would be good for the country, but I'm also pretty sure those beliefs are way out of step with the median voter. Therefore I do not pressure Democratic candidates to loudly adopt my immigration positions. This seems logical and straightforward but 99% of this app is incapable of that level of strategy.
