@its_The_Dr Let's see:...Welfare, section 8 housing, EBT and Snap, Medicaid, affirmative action in jobs and education for DECADES . When are we done paying reparations?
I don’t think the parents exclusively used their son for the payday. I think they saw an opportunity to capitalize on the publicity of the tragedy and took it. They only used the excuse of getting an attorney. I also believe they knew that no real attorney would take that case because it should never have gone to trial.
This unrealistic expectation of shirking the law because you’re black came from watching the Democrats make heroes out of criminals. They watched as the nation turned on victims because they were white. They saw the word racism being thrown around as a get out of jail free card. They saw more and more unhinged excuses for criminal behavior and thought their son could benefit from this trend. They saw the politicians paint Renee Good and Alex Pretti as a heroes. They saw the criminalization of ICE and the police by the left and thought this was still a thing. They saw those open borders and the redefining of the words illegal and criminal. They saw the uptick of sanctuary cities and forgot that there are still people around with common sense and who know right from wrong. What they saw was political theatrics that was all a facade and is now a thing of the past because PEOPLE ARE TIRED.
A teenage boy was stabbed to DEATH at school. This is the bottom line. There was nothing more to the story. There was no justification and no amount of fabrication could’ve justified this thing. This nation needs to get back to COMMON SENSE and some sense of morality. The parents also could’ve been the example yesterday but their selfishness and needs took a front seat yet again. They could’ve stayed for the impact statements. They could’ve apologized to the family even then, but pride and entitlement is still alive and well. This case was ridiculous and proof that people really don’t think they should answer for their actions.
The only one in danger of losing their life that day was Austin. He was the victim. Let’s not forget.

@ModestyQueen19 Criminals go to prison, no color required.
This was not about race, it was about a narcissistic punk baiting others and refusing to leave.
Let's just say what everyone is thinking out loud.
Nobody is losing the right to vote. Not one American citizen has been stripped of their ballot, their voice, or their access to the polls.
What Democrats are actually losing is the ability to cheat, and that is a very different thing.
