@rosiierix Definitely - the fact he was in genuine contention for the win in both Suzuka and Hungary doesn't get talked about enough, he's had some really strong weekends amongst the horrors.
@poisonousbranch@wearetherace Try and justify it all you want, but risking a collision for 1 point in a sprint is just embarrassing, he fucked his team over with that move and those 8 points lost could make a difference at the end of the year.
@poisonousbranch@wearetherace Couple of points? Lando’s selfish move cost the team EIGHT constructors’ points and likely their third position in the wcc after tomorrow.
@LN1addict Fine he was faster, so he should have qualified better then - that frustration and lack of critical thinking just fucked his team over, lost them 8 important constructors’ points.
@ln4norris I notice Ruth Buscombe immediately disagreed with Palmer saying Lando shouldn’t have done it given what was at stake. P1 Matt and Tommy have also just eviscerated Lando on their reaction podcast. Poor discipline and lack of critical thinking from Lando, and 8 easy points gone.
@ti44si_@F1GuyDan Agreed. They had an easy haul of constructors’ points there if they’d held position. Now they’ll be lucky to keep the 1 point. Poor decision to take that risk
@ring088@F1GuyDan Rightly pissed off at a racer throwing away easy constructors’ points - stupid risk to take and could have fukced both cars for quali.
@F1GuyDan Crazy risk to take against your teammate for the sake of one extra point. Now constructors’ points are lost and a damaged car ahead of quali. Poor behaviour imo
