i wasn't gonna say it for fear of being killed but brand new day's cinematography is... not good to say the least. it's easy to say it's peak when pretty much all of the mcu cinematography looks like shit but when you compare this to like dune or something you see what i mean
76ers fans haven’t said once yet “he’ll never be iverson” they’re just happy to get a great player in their franchise to help them win. Laker fans are the softest whiniest crybaby fanbase in all of sports 😂
Lorenzo Salgado Araujo called Houston home for 35 years. On Tuesday, an ICE agent shot and killed him. His family learned of his death from a video before anyone bothered to knock on their door.
New York City stands with the Salgado family in demanding a full, independent investigation and real accountability. To the Salgado family and any immigrant family in this city living in fear: we grieve with you and we will continue to stand beside you in the pursuit of justice.
Abolish ICE.
Sony: *announces the end of physical discs by 2028*
Also Sony the same day: *will close PS3 and PS Vita stores by 2027*
They really think you're dumb enough to not see the problem
So do Sony realize that when they drop a 1500 dollar PS6 with no physical discs to collect that everyone is just going to get PC and Steam because it’s the superior digital option or are they just really that fucking stupid
Let's say the PS6 is a digital only console (pretty much guaranteed now) and 20yrs after it's release you wanna get a game for the PS6 but they've shut down the store just like they did for the PS3/Vita. What are you going to do?
You can't go to a gamestop, a pawn shop, a flea market, ebay or whatever. This is planned obsolescence in its' final form. PlayStation now has 100% control over how you buy and play a game.
Your boy wanna sell you a game for cheap? Can't do that, gotta buy full price on PSN. Wanna give your boy a game to check out? too bad, he's gotta buy it for $70 on PSN.
This is terrible for videogame preservation and consumer rights
Let's sum up what we are losing with no physical disc support:
-No borrowing games
-No secondhand reselling of games
-Not 'owning' your game, no 1.0 version on a disc. It will all be in Sony's control now
What are we gaining?:
-NOTHING
