Right now, I think teachers need more TLC than they do PD.

The difference between medical workers being put at risk is they don’t have to worry about adequate or appropriate supplies. The same cannot be said for teachers and all school staff if they return to schools.

[Cristy @CristyWellik]

@DrBradJohnson Exactly! Our mental health in this very moment is critical! No support creates a strain and lack of trust!

[Cristy @CristyWellik]

Georgia is suspending standardized testing for the upcoming school year & formal teacher evals and are seeking to permanently cut certain tests. This will also save $10's of millions from the budget that can be used toward teacher pay, etc. Let's hope other states step up!

@DrBradJohnson Brad Johnson for President!!!

[𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐝 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧 @DrBradJohnson]

It's great the gov't stepped up w/ stimulus packages to help families & businesses. But w/ talk of teacher cuts after all they just did during the pandemic, gov't needs to step up & take care of teachers. Otherwise it's just the latest slap in the face of the noblest profession.

Remember when they said we need state tests & report cards because otherwise teachers & principals would slack off?

Well, testing & state report cards are canceled and all I see are teachers & principals working harder than ever before.

Let’s trust our professionals.
