But i found their method to lack integeity and have no respect or care for the community/customers.

But the way they did it was predatory.
Unconscionable contract over the holidays with minimal time to respond to ppl who based businesses on the perpetuity of the OGL. Its messed up.

Please never sign a contract of any kind with a clause like that.

@JohnGPettus @YoDanno @DnDBeyond @Wizards_DnD I would even say that most creators probably dont even need the OGL. Its mostly a protection against frivolous lawsuits. So taking it away is basically saying dont even try or we will bankrupt you even if you are in the righr.
Except VTTs. They do need it.

But i think creating a perpetual license with the intent of it not being revocable (i get its not explicitly stated) makes it so that taking it away is a dick move. And something that they didnt need to do.

@JohnGPettus @YoDanno @DnDBeyond @Wizards_DnD They were going bankrupt before OGL. And creators of OGL have stated the intent was for it to exist in perpetuity. Many may not have chosen to become creators without it. Its a dick move to revoke
And i've seen countless people deciding to play dnd because of influencers.
