Really interesting insights into another Indie showcase. Allow me to peel back the curtain a bit on Indie Quest:

We’ve had multiple games get 10,000+ wishlists, this year one even had 20,000+ wishlists.

This year 2 games launched Kickstarters during the show and were funded in under 24 hours.

I’m blessed enough to where I don’t have to charge a dime for developers to participate. They work hard enough and I don’t want another burden on them.

Although we may add sponsors this year if I find the right partners.

I really believe the success of Indie Quest is due to its narrow focus of Indie JRPGs and the passionate community that has rallied behind the show.

I try to level up the show each year and 2027’s show is already shaping up the be the best yet!

They're making something super cool and unique and one of the most high profile Kickstarted JRPGs just got cancelled.

I hope everyone gives the game a chance. Their budget is much more modest and more likely to actually release.

@RobbieP93584347 Thank you very much Robbie! We did have discussions about a physical edition, but the issue is that it's a free game involving many stakeholders and IP. So the money gets very complicated. Never say never, but chances are a physical won't happen because of that, sadly.
