Legends! Central Coast Comic Con 2026 was a moment for The Kids From Yesterday.

Watching people sit down with LOVE X LOVE (love-cross-love @lovexloveshow ) for the first time — that's something I'll carry for a while. As will the memory of how chaotic it was :D

We had out first pop-up shop and we sold pins, shirts, the magazine — people actually bought them! That means more than you know. Every sale goes straight back into the game and the studio.

Our first public playtest of LXL ran on @msigaming hardware (shout out to them for sponsorship of the Indie Game Showcase at the @CCComicon event by RYSS) and it felt great to have this moment.

Even if this early build was janky as all heck... as all early stage prototypes are!

Even if I broke the build at 9AM when the show started at 1030AM.

But,
It was Middle City at night.
It was Baby on the road.
It was Mr Love and DLOVE on the 'radio'.
It was the Revery.
It was players playing something and experiencing the earliest form of the vision we have for this game we call LOVE X LOVE.

If you want to help shape the game and support early — there's a waitlist and we have Private pre-pre-pre alpha invites will go there first, no promises on timing but that's your best shot.
