@_skylerrose_ Lot faster than the house would normally move. The fast little puppy has increased the entropy, increased the energy, made this move faster than they would in a basic state.
@_skylerrose_ Yes easy, to move faster you use more energy over time than you normally would, entropy has occurred at a faster rate than normal in the environment you inhabit. Imagine you have a pristine house and nothing ever moves, if you get a puppy it will move around and move stuff a...
@_skylerrose_ Because that entropy process is occurring to all things all the time, it's why the stars move through space and why day turns to night. Having a clock just tells you the time of day, you can have clocks for lots of things like tides, moon cycles etc but we just use them often.
@_skylerrose_ Entropy is basically the physical change in a system from a state of order to a state of different order (relative to the original state). Imagine reality like a staircase. Over time, the pressure of walking and the general environment changes the shape of each step.
@lb8_pro@mindsetofstoics Applying effort to things outside of your control usually results in those things coming under your control. This Is what science is. Which is neither hopeless or fruitless.
