It's on the website now, so must be true! Really excited to get to work with Dr Ana Jordan @UoL_CSS for the next 3 years on our new project 'Suicide in/as Politics' now funded by a @LeverhulmeTrust project grant @critsui#sociology#politics#suicide

Was re-reading this insightful paper on the limitations of mhGAP and was wondering if there is something similar looking at the humanitarian settings version and adequacy of using mhGAP for #suicideprevention training. If not,who wants to write it with me? https://t.co/jB9kWZ7Mgt
This is a wonderful new contribution from @jenhumewhite - asking 'what can a body of knowledge do'? Lots to think about for @critsui, for suicide research and for qualitative & narrative methods
Just looked into this report on programs and services for #suicideprevention for the Sax Institute and thought some of you might want to read it too @critsui https://t.co/qAaz9TiujU
“...characteristics women display are pejoratively labeled, even when they are associated with survival...characteristics men display are positively labeled even when they lead to self-destruction.” Silvia Canetto #AAS20@critsui@IASPinfo@ColoradoStateU
I just can’t keep up with all of the amazing take aways from Silvia Canetto. Here are her suggestions for future directions for #SuicidePrevention. #AAS20@critsui
I totally agree and have been feeling a bit sick about I actually. That's why I publicly declared a few days back I will stay out of this as there are more important things to do right now, even if they won't go in CVs, REFs,TEFs and H-index. So we have a choice: stop this race!
