[Solyricon @Solyricon]

Saw someone say, “Women were told to put their keys between their fingers to protect themselves, and then cars stopped having keys.” And honestly… I’d never thought about it like that.

Someone told me I shouldn’t help spread pictures of the Cornell 7 guys, because it might destroy their lives.

Sweetie, that’s what I’m counting on.

Women: "We don't need men"

Military - 95% men
Firefighters - 97% men
Coal Miners - 95% men
Truck drivers - 90% men
Construction - 92% men
Oil rig workers - 96% men
Surgeons - 82% men
Engineers - 89% men

The world goes around because of men.

Thank you for pointing out sexism:
Teachers - 76% women
Nurses 88% women
Social workers - 83% women
Elder care 80%+ women
Child care 94% women
Food prep - 56% women
Admin/clerical - 72% women
Medical & health services managers - majority women

The entire unpaid labor economy that keeps society functioning - overwhelmingly women.

Since we're listing statistics, let's finish the set properly...
Prison population: Men - 96%
Sex offenders in prison: Men - 98.5%
Prosecutions for sexual offences: Men 98%
Domestic homicide perpetrators: Men – 90%
Overall violent crime: Men 85%+

So if we're going to argue that society runs because of men, we should also acknowledge the parts of society that fall apart because of them.

Wait, just not finished yet...
Childbirths - 0% men
Men exist because of women.
Military is needed because MEN start wars.

No one said Women don't need men.
They said we DON'T NEED misogyny.

There's a difference.

They show that women:
Were kept out of unions
Were banned from combat
Were barred from engineering schools
Were fired when pregnant
Were excluded from whole industries by law

You don't get points for dominating spaces you locked women out of.
