@bbcPoV Absolutely brilliant show. It illustrates how sport can turn anyone’s life around. The strength of community was evident and I smiled through every match that was played. Well done players and coaches!
@halfwayupmiddle@omy_jnr Weekend made with a shout out on the pod 😂 (although have also been watching my daughter start her MCC journey as a probationer and definitely agree that the organisation serves an important role in development/ growth of the female game)
@JohnBlain44@GrangeCC@EdAcadSport Who am I going to over analyse the development of W&G cricket with now?! Good luck with your new role, where I am sure that you will continue to inspire.
@NettyDrummond@malcolmcannon62 To be fair, we had it all set up at Craiglockhart on Sunday and there was a battery malfunction. It wasn’t through lack of intent but I agree with your wider point!
Things have just got a lot more difficult . Here’s what I think . I had no control over what just happened . None . But I do have control over how I will react to it . And I am not going to give up on the beautiful and the good , the grip on my dreams just got tighter .
@sbryce52@T20WorldCup Only way to improve is to experience the standards that you need to reach. Then you know your next goal. The team have broken through to reach the WC and doing so well given that they have a fraction of the resource behind them - we’re supporting with pride.
Great interview with @karicarswell82. “Everything’s got to start somewhere” - where might we be in another 2 decades thanks to the women who are pushing forward today? They do us proud 🏴
From Worcester in 1932, Tillicoultry in 2001, to a World Cup in 2024… the story of Scotland Women.
Thanks to @karicarswell82 for her memories 🏴
