someone asked why I dislike "folx" instead of "folks" and the x is so othering. Folks is already gender neutral and encompassing, the x becomes this fully dehumanizing metaphor.

I had a K-12 job interview this morning and was asked how I would help an autistic student mid-meltdown. I disclosed I’m autistic - something I would *never* do unless I feel it’s necessary.

I was not only praised - I was thoroughly supported AND offered the job on the spot. 😭
