Every poem in this book was written in a night I thought I wouldn’t survive.
What’s the one line you’ve written, read, or heard that stayed with you?

[Clara Raye Monteiro @crmonteirowrite]

“Some words are kept to survive. Others… are bled to be free.”

This book?

And now it’s yours.

I didn’t see the light.

I’m glad I did.
Maybe you will be too.

Grief doesn’t knock.
It leaks.
I wrote this book because I couldn’t hold it in anymore.
