Lucy loves a fuss, and she's still searching for her forever home! This sweet, affectionate petite greyhound would love a patient home where she can settle at her own pace. Not lots of stairs, just plenty of love. Could Lucy be your perfect match? ❤️ https://t.co/Uecpinsve0
Daphne wants to show you her toe beans! 😆
Daphne is full of life and adores playing with her toys! She will even throw them in the air and play with them herself. Daphne came to us with very little history so we are looking for someone who is home for most of the day! 🏡
Daphne loves exploring in quieter areas where she can sniff at her own pace. She can forget her size and forgets she is no longer a puppy so will need someone who is experienced with training larger breeds! 🌺
Can you give Daphne her forever home? Apply here 👉 https://t.co/qIU0ZyfXnY
Elon, I can give you many, many names of people who have died because of your aid cuts.:
*Yamah Freeman was a 23-year-old woman who died in childbirth because you stopped paying for the diesel for ambulances in her part of Liberia. I talked to her parents and sister in their village.
*Gbessey Kiadu, age 1, died of malaria because of your cuts in Liberia. I talked to his mom in her village.
*Ibrahim Koroma, an infant, died of AIDS in Sierra Leone after you interrupted HIV supplies. I talked to health workers who cared for him.
*Achol Deng was an 8-year-old girl with HIV in South Sudan who died when you cut funding for the health care worker who provided her medicines. I talked to him.
I could go on and on. In almost every village you go to in South Sudan, Uganda, Liberia, Sierra Leone or other countries I reported in, you find people dying because of aid cuts. I challenge you: Come with me on a reporting trip, and we'll talk to these moms and dads, and you'll see the dying children themselves. I think if you see the kids whose lives are at stake, maybe you'll change your mind.
Woman posts Israeli murders of Palestinian children and is... branded a terrorist by the UK
Sarah Wilkinson is a 61-year-old British pro-Palestine activist and independent journalist who has spent years campaigning for Palestinian rights. She has written for MENA Uncensored, sought to join humanitarian missions such as the Freedom Flotilla, and has become one of the most prolific online chroniclers of life and death in Gaza.
By her own account and that of supporters, she dedicated much of her life to documenting a conflict that much of the Western media either ignored or covered only intermittently.
Then, in August 2024, British counter-terrorism police raided her home, seized her electronic devices and arrested her over material she had posted online. Whether one agrees with every opinion Sarah Wilkinson has ever expressed is not the central issue.
The undeniable fact is that countless posts on her accounts documented Palestinian civilians, including children, killed in Israeli military operations. The children remain dead. The destroyed neighbourhoods remain destroyed.
Yet the woman sharing those images found herself investigated under terrorism legislation. It is a remarkable inversion of moral focus. When documenting civilian suffering attracts the attention of counter-terrorism police, while the suffering itself risks becoming background noise, a disturbing question presents itself:
what exactly is being protected, the public from dangerous ideas, or governments with blood on their hands from uncomfortable realities?
when’s the last time you attended an anti ice protest? dsa was there at every protest. there’s a reason why voters trust democratic socialists more than establishment dems who are now trying to desperately re-triangulate their anti ice messaging after voting to fund ice.
Funny how some teams get asked about football… and others get asked to explain the world.
Shoutout to the Iran team for carrying that weight.

Standing at the bus stop and there’s a Muslim girl here. Bus slowed down, she went to walk towards the door and it drove on. Apparently, this happens regularly to her. Here 10 years, Belfast accent and a lovely young woman. @Translink_NI time to try some diversity training?
The Government has cancelled plans to have Solar Panels over outdoor car parks.
Despite finding they could generate £28,000 a year each and pay for themselves many times over.
They have simply been thrown in the bin.
Fossil Fuel says no, no doubt.
Mrs Sarah Wilkinson @swilkinsonbc is a 63 year old journalist that has been documenting the Gaza genocide from early on.
The UK Govt is charging her with terrorism crimes for simply posting the news out of Gaza, in an effort to silence her.
Please RT this - thank you.
Maybe I’m just not evil enough, but I can’t imagine whining at my boyfriend for sex after he repeatedly said no and then enjoying him lying underneath me in silence after he’d given in
En nombre mío y de todos mis compañeros de la selección iraní, quiero expresar nuestro más sincero agradecimiento y profunda gratitud a México por su cálida hospitalidad. Iran’s captain was asked about LGBT rights. So, why then wasn’t the U.S. team captain asked about the U.S. bombing of the girls' school in Minab, asks @fbhutto ?

Can you please share to help Alfie find a home?
Alfie is a 1 year old Sprocker Spaniel. He is available and looking for a new home.
Alfie is good with kids but can be very excited meeting new people.
He is unsure of cats.
With other dogs, it depends on the other dogs nature towards him. As he hasn't lived with another dog, we don't know how he would be, therefore to make his new home transition easier for Alfie, we'd require a home with no other pets.
Alfie is healthy with no medical issues.
He eats Wainwrights Tray Variety dog food and sleeps in his crate.
He can be left for short periods of time.
Alfie is house trained but may have an accident.
He is also registered at the vets and can be very strong on the lead.
Ideally he would suit an owner that is use to the breed and can give Alfie lots of attention and further training.
He has never been in kennels.
A home with kids over 8 years old is best.
Alfie understands commands such as sit, spin, down and off when he jumps up.
He is up to date with his vaccinations.
For more information or to offer Alfie a new home, please email [email protected]
