It should come as no surprise that the Taliban terrorist group continues to detain foreign civilian nationals as hostages. This is not a legitimate government but a criminal and terrorist syndicate that seeks to extract leverage, money, and political concessions from anyone it can.

The policies adopted by parts of the international community created an environment that emboldened the Taliban terrorists. The flow of cash, increased diplomatic engagement without accountability, and acquiescence to many of their political demands only incentivized further hostage-taking and coercive behavior.

The only effective response to the Taliban terrorist group is increased and sustained pressure: the credible use of force, the strict enforcement and expansion of sanctions at every level, and the empowerment of the resistance against the Taliban and other terrorist networks in Afghanistan. Appeasement has failed; only strength and accountability will change their behavior.

۲ طالب تروریست در حمله نیروهای جبهه مقاومت ملی در هرات به هلاکت رسیدند.

نیروهای جبهه مقاومت ملی شب گذشته، ۱۹ عقرب ۱۴۰۴، در یک عملیات هدفمند موفق شدند دو طالب تروریست را در مسیر هرات اسلام قلعه، از پا در آورند.

این حمله در نزدیکی مسلخ ولایت هرات بر یک محل بازرسی ملیشه‌های طالبان تروریست ساعت هشت شب انجام شده و دو میل اسلحه دشمن نیز بدست نیروهای جبهه مقاومت ملی افتاده است.

در این حمله به نیروهای دلیر جبهه مقاومت ملی و غیر نظامیان آسیبی نرسیده است.

نیروهای جبهه مقاومت ملی عملیات‌های هدفمند خود را برای آزادی مردم و کشور از زیر سلطه نامشروع گروه تروریستی طالبان در نقاط مختلف کشور با عزم و اراده راسخ و با توکل به خدا سازماندهی و اجرا می‌کنند.

Even though I didn’t agree with many of @charliekirk11 Kirk’s views, especially regarding Islam, it is never acceptable for anyone to be murdered for their opinions. I am deeply shocked and saddened; the world feels like a much darker place today.

Deeply saddened by the horrendous assassination of @charliekirk11. Violence has no place in a democratic society. Charlie was a rising leader who inspired youth and shaped politics with conviction and commitment. I last met him in Dec 2024 when he praised our struggle for Afghanistan’s freedom and expressed his support. Our condolences to his family, his followers in @TPUSA and all Americans.

We attended the Global Summit on Terrorism and Political Violence, hosted by @TheSoufanCenter at Ground Zero in New York City to mark the 24th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. Senior U.S. officials, international experts, veterans, and families of victims participated to address the ongoing threats posed by terrorist groups and to shape strategic policies.

A central highlight was the September 9 address by @AhmadMassoud, leader of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRF). He delivered an in-depth analysis of Afghanistan under Taliban rule and warned of the escalating dangers from Al-Qaeda, ISIS, TTP, Ansarullah, and other groups exploiting Afghanistan’s soil to threaten the region and the international community, including the United States.

He also paid tribute to the National Hero of Afghanistan, the late Commander Ahmad Shah Massoud, martyred two days before 9/11, recalling his warnings about Taliban and Al-Qaeda threats to the United States and underscoring the link between his assassination and the 9/11 attacks carried out by Al-Qaeda.

We thank The Soufan Center for leading the global discourse on terrorism and extremism and for inviting us to this important event.

The Taliban’s terrorist regime has destroyed any progress made on human rights in Afghanistan and I am committed to opposing their rule and supporting the will of the Afghan people. The NRF's mission is an honorable one, and Mr. Massoud will be featured in @HouseForeignGOP's report on our Afghanistan withdrawal investigation that will be released on September 9th. I will once again be meeting with NRF representatives, including Ahmad Massoud, Jr, on September 10th, and I look forward to hearing about his efforts to free his people from the Taliban.

Veterans have done so much for our country, and they deserve to be listened to by their elected leaders. I want to make sure they know that now, and always, their voices are heard by me.

این یک دست‌آورد تاریخی و نقطۀ عطف در تاریخ معاصر افغانستان است. برای نخستین بار، طوماری در حمایت از جبهۀ مقاومت ملّی افغانستان به رهبری آمرصاحب احمد مسعود در خارج از کشور، بیش از ۲۰۰،۰۰۰ امضا جمع‌آوری کرده‌است. به یاد نمی‌آوریم که در گذشته هیچ طوماری پیرامون مسائل افغانستان، حتا به ۱۰،۰۰۰ امضا رسیده باشد.

راه‌اندازی چنین طوماری و جمع شدن هزاران امضا آن‌هم نه در افغانستان و یا کشورهای همسایه و منطقه، بل‌که بسیار دور و در یکی از قدرت‌های جهان، حقانیت داعیۀ جبهۀ مقاومت ملّی افغانستان را برای آزادی و عدالت، مبارزه با تروریسم بین‌المللی و دفاع از مردم تحت ستم کشور، در سطح جهان به نمایش می‌گذارد. در کنار سهم‌گیری فعال هم‌میهنان عزیزمان در نقاط مختلف جهان، بیشترین امضا‌های این طومار را مردم ایالات متحده و شهروندان سایر کشورها به امضا رسانیده‌ا��د. ما در سطح بین‌المللی تلاش می‌ورزیم تا جامعۀ جهانی را با واقعیت‌های دهشتناک و تلخ افغانستان ِ تحت حاکمیت گروه تروریستی طالبان آگاه بسازیم و اجازه ندهیم یک گروه تروریستی و ناقض حقوق بشر، از حمایت مالی برخوردار باشند.

این‌همه، نشان‌دهندۀ انزجار مردم افغانستان و جهان از یک گروه تروریستی و جنایت‌کار است. و نیز این، نشان می‌دهد که وجدان‌های آگاه و بیدار در سراسر جهان، خواهان قطع هر نوع حمایت مالی به طالبان هستند. گروهی که سال‌ها جنایت کردند و اکنون نیز با کارنامۀ ضدحقوق بشری و حمایت از گروه‌های هم‌کیش و تروریست شان، میهن ما را به تباهی کشیده، و برای منطقه و جهان نیز یک تهدید ضد امنیتی به شمار می‌روند. ما امیدوار استیم که با حمایت مردمی، این طومار، منجر به پایان بخشیدن به هر نوع کمک مالی به گروه تروریستی طالبان شود.
