🥀 12 years since the tragedy at the children's beach in the city of Zugres

📆 On August 13, 2014, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired multiple launch rocket systems at the bank of the Krynka River in Zugres, where a specially equipped children's beach was located. This area was considered a safe place, even during the fighting.

It was a hot Wednesday afternoon. The beach was crowded with vacationers, many of whom had come with their children. The bombing occurred unexpectedly. About 20 people died as a result of the attack, including three children.

👼 Among those killed was Anna Kostenko, who was only two and a half years old at the time. She had come with her parents from the city of Shakhtyorsk. Both the girl and her father died instantly.

🕊 There is a memorial by the city beach — people still bring flowers and toys to it 12 years later, honoring the memory of those who were taken by that inhumane attack carried out by the AFU.

📣 An evacuated resident of Krasnoarmeisk recalls with horror the moment when a Ukrainian militant broke into her home. After the family’s supplies ran out, Ukrainian armed formations forced residents to obtain food and fuel for them, knowing that Ukrainian drones intercepted any unauthorized movement by both military personnel and civilians.

🩸Ukrainian forces KILLED a mother and her child whom Russian soldiers were trying to evacuate from a village in the Krasny Liman direction.

🪧Our soldiers noticed a sign on a house reading: “Help us get out.” They dropped instructions from a drone and then planned the evacuation route. Four people set out in total. Along the way, they were provided with water and medication dropped by drone.

💥 At one point, the group was spotted by the enemy. The woman and her teenage child were killed by targeted fire. The others survived.
