Big news from the @rhobusiness team today!
We're partnering with @Navan to help finance teams fix one of their most frustrating pain points.
Why?
In a single day, finance teams manage A LOT with one big, hairy problem.
Today’s finance stack is expensive and kills more time than it claims to save.
Think: 4-5 tabs open just to reconcile a single expense or $100s in monthly SaaS fees.
And there’s one area in particular where a lot of this frustration finds its way into the day-to-day of finance teams.
Managing travel and expense (T&E).
It’s a major pain that most teams aren’t prepared to handle. It gets time-consuming and mind-numbing fast.
Even when they manage to piece together a Frankenstein-looking solution, the next hurdle is getting team members to use it correctly (and keep their receipts). More headaches.
It’s also painfully expensive: Companies spend, on average, approximately half a million dollars and nearly 3,000 hours correcting errors in expense reports each year.
This isn’t the right way to do it.
This is why we’re excited to announce our new partnership with Navan. Here’s how it came to be and what it means for you.
We started Rho five years ago to reimagine how finance teams work with money and believed the natural starting point would be the business bank account.
So, we developed a business banking platform that could A) provide a foundation for us to add capabilities that automate key finance workflows and B) support future partnerships with innovators in other spaces to support the same goal.
Today’s news with Navan is a prime example of point B.
The @money2020 panel I participated in last year with Navan Expense CEO @M_Sindicich was just the start; moving forward, we’re excited to combine forces to help finance teams solve one of their biggest pain points today.

We did something crazy.
We think NYC is the best place in the world to build a startup, and like @andruyeung, we also think we can convince someone of this within a week of being here.
So, we thought...why not make that happen?
In honor of NYC @Techweek_, we're partnering with Andrew to fly 5 founders (or aspiring founders) out to New York for Tech Week (June 3-9).
