Some damage around from the ping pong ball size hail on the weekend. Some areas worse than others but early enough to hope for recovery. Worth a fungicide for protection and consider Awaken to recover tattered crops with low head and stem loss @NutrienAgCda
Stellar time meeting Ted and Jan Sexton. Bad timing for a farm visit with the floods in Kansas at the moment but got to see some country none the less. Winter wheat and Alfalfa going strong (god willing) 🤞🏻
Cheers for setting us up @AGRICENLIFER
First @crop_opti trial for 2019 in the ground. #oats#cereals and #pulses down at Netherby looking at herbicide tolerance, hay quality and variety performance
Great turn out for our pre season workshop thanks to Al Crawford from Adama @JasonBrand@MarkSlatts74 Chris Warrick for coming down and speaking to our group and Horsham Golf Club for hosting us again
Congratulations Ollie (and Hannah) from AJS machinery for taking out the innovation award @wimfielddays with the @SureFireAg quickdraw system, it’s been our absolute pleasure having you guys with us this year, if you haven’t already get down the the field days to check it out
This grenade wheat north of Horsham is on a high yielding canola stubble and is averaging about 2t/ha! Only had 150mm GSR so the accumulating years of minimum till mgt is really proving its value. Clearly every drop of rain has been utilised here. All the 1%ers matter.
To all our clients out there that are interested, the Minyip Murtoa Football Netball Club are hosting a Farm Business and Ag Night. The night will include a number of speakers that are in the industry as well as a BBQ dinner (and drinks at the bar). Anyone is welcome.
Larissa doing the trials spraying duties on her birthday. We’re aiming to see some results from Loveland nutrition brews on this nice looking canola crop.
