@bbc5live councils have had small business grant money for weeks. Just not getting it out to businesses fast enough. Approx only 10% of applications been paid after 10 days of having applicant details. Chris York. Chased and chased and now expect money Thursday.

Completely appreciate volume @CityofYork but naively thought small business grant £££ would have arrived after 9 days since details passed? If it doesnt arrive very soon will be of no benefit to us. Will be too late, defeating the whole Govt objective. @yorkbusiness @BBCYork

@anna69wallo @BBCYork Selby councillor asking for more government money. Government have provided millions but council have yet to distribute quick enough to help failing businesses. Small business grant is in Council bank.

Can we get daily updates of how many processed, as at the minute it's looking like some wont see money for weeks, maybe even months?

@CityofYork it's unique times for us all. Is there any update timings wise when Small Business Relief grants can be expected? Website pretty vague. Completely appreciate enormity of task but the need is now. Rents & wages won't get paid as furlough scheme not ready for weeks.

@VOXI_UK still not convinced I have settings right on my Samsung 7 for new VOXI SIM. Says I only have 2gb data when have 25gb package and phone won't stay logged on to home Wi-Fi?
