WPIAL Class 3A Cross Country CHAMPIONS

The Hempfield Area XC teams traveled to the Westmoreland County Championship on October 8, 2025. The Varsity Girls placed 3rd with 80 points. Medalists were Sofia Weimer (9th place) 20:06, Chesnee Smith (12th place) 20:15, & Lyla Moody (15th place) 20:40.

The Hempfield Area XC teams traveled to the Westmoreland County Championship. The Boys placed 1st with 29 points. Medalists were Jonathan Stetchock (Champion 15:54 Meet Record), Ryan Ewing (5th), Isaiah Bittner (6th), Carter Moody (7th), Troy Payne (10th), & Jake Halsted (11th).

Good luck to the Hempfield Area Boys & Girls Cross Country teams as they compete today in the WPIAL Class 3A Cross Country Championship at White Oak Park! The boys are scheduled to run at 3:00 p.m. and girls at 3:45 p.m.

The Hempfield Area JV Cross Country Team finished 2nd at the TSTCA Championship Meet at White Oak Park! Andrew Bryant (5th place), Sam Wood (7th), Max Gromoll (8th), Liam Aurigemma (9th), Nick Dzurica (12th), Alan Methven (14th), and Xavier Burns (15th) all earned medals.
