Something I don’t think is discussed enough - how important it is for middle & senior leaders to remember what it’s like for a teacher ‘on the ground’ to teach full period days, often for 2-3 days back to back. Also, the accompanying markload, and inevitable cognitive fatigue.

First trip of the school year ✅ Spent the day in Hunstanton with my class. Their learning so far was shown and it gave us the opportunity to put the learning in to practice and further their knowledge. Ice creams were eaten by the children - Adults warmed up with hot chocolates!
