@joewheat27 I hate to say this, as a BYU fan, but the irony of this is my algorithm put this right below two BYU fans complaining about how terrible the officiating was. I think both sides can agree it was bad.
@jasonmcgowan@kalanifsitake One of the first things I heard him say when he was a new coach at BYU is that he taught the team “Meekness is not weakness”. He has spent every day since as a living example of that mantra. The way he treats everyone is full of love. He deflects all praise onto others.
@CornHust1er @ByuSome@bobbybluechip32 I mean, they were 11-1 after the regular season with their only loss being at home to BYU. They made the CFP, so it’s not a bad argument in this case.
@joewheat27 It’s not just YouTube TV, however, you see it there a lot because they are owned by Google, who doesn’t own other major media companies. Disney has nothing to lose in this fight. They are trying to drive more $ to ESPN streaming platform or Hulu. It will unfortunately work.
@cthuey1 You’re lucky not to be a fan of other schools then. It’s worse at most other schools. At Ohio State, fans start leaving at halftime if the team has a comfortable lead (even against a highly ranked team), and as crazy as it seems, they often pay even more for tickets here.
Alright, here’s what I’ve learned today:
1. The pep band students came to the Jan. 14 game, passed security, set up and began warming up. The Director told them 40 minutes before tip that they were not allowed to play. They had to pack everything up and sit the rest of the game.
Remember, the thrill of being scared can be enjoyable when we have the reassurance of safety provided by loved ones and the understanding that the source of our fear is merely pretend. #fredrogers#halloween#fear
