Tideway and charity partner @Thames21 came together with community volunteers on World Environment Day to celebrate 10 years of Thames River Watch. The programme engages riverside communities in citizen science to collect and count plastic litter on the Thames foreshore.
On World Environment Day, we are delighted to launch our Live Litter Map, showing the effects of plastic pollution across the Tidal Thames.
Data presented in the Live Litter Map has been generated by our citizen science volunteers through our Thames River Watch programme.
