It is with great sadness that Cross Slot has lost one of its greatest supporters. Dr Keith Saxton who introduced the Cross Slot to the USA, recently passed away aged 85. He provided invaluable research in the USA. A nicer, kinder person you could not meet. RIP.

I was in conversation by text with a Cross Slot owner this morning. He was seeing some wear on his openers after 110,000 acres of seeding. I said it would take a New Zealand farmer about 100-200 years to seed that amount of acres. Cross Slot delivers value.

A new 8' 4" unit with 10 Cross Slot openers on 10" spacing waiting for its APV seed and fertilizer units to be mounted this should happen over the next day or so. As soon as this happens it will be ready for delivery just in time for spring seeding (assuming it stays dry.
