Fedorov: I have no quality concerns about FirePoint — soldiers keep using these drones with results.
But we move everything to tenders. Our first artillery tender saved 16-20%, over $100 million on one contract. Across all drone purchases, we expect roughly 20% savings.

Fedorov: Average infantry salary will be roughly $7,000. Assault troops up to 460,000 hryvnias, roughly $10,000.
Foreigners already come to fight for these salaries. Raise them further and more reinforce our front line.

G7 nations agree to significantly expand military support for Ukraine
The G7 nations have agreed to step up military aid to Ukraine. This includes the delivery of additional air defense equipment, new air defense systems, interceptor missiles, and long-range weapons.
The joint statement on Ukraine contains no mention of negotiations, a ceasefire, or a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
The focus is on continuing to support Ukraine, strengthening its position on the battlefield, and increasing pressure on Russia.
The document underscores the need to give Ukraine fresh momentum to counter Russian aggression.
Incredible operation: The Ukrainian Security Service (SSU) attacked a Russian Kilo-class submarine in the Novorossiysk seaport using an underwater drone known as “Sub Sea Baby.” According to the official SSU statement, the submarine sustained critical damage.
⚡️ German defense company HENSOLDT has signed a memorandum of understanding with Ukrainian company Fire Point.
The parties agreed to develop a ground-based air defense system capable of detecting and intercepting ballistic missiles.

Since the outbreak of the war with Iran in February, Russia's war against Ukraine had largely disappeared from the front pages. And the Strait of Hormuz crisis seemed to have given Russia's war a second wind.
But today, the pendulum has swung in the opposite direction - Russia's war against Ukraine has once again become a central topic at the G7 summit. The prospect of peace with Iran is not working in Moscow’s favor.
Ukraine was invited to the G7 summit. Russia was not there. Not long ago, the West was debating how to reach an agreement with Moscow. In Évian, the discussion was different - how to raise the price of war for Russia.
This marks a shift not only in rhetoric, but also in political logic. Ukraine is becoming increasingly integrated into the Western space, while Russia is gradually transforming from a contender for a new world order into an international outsider - one that is increasingly presented with bills and offered a seat at the table less and less often.
The facts are telling. Canada announced 162 new sanctions. Britain struck the shadow fleet and seized a tanker. After meeting with President Zelenskyy, President Trump said what many had long wanted to hear from him: "Russia should make a deal." Ursula von der Leyen spoke of the growing exhaustion of the Russian system.
Let's take a brief look back and appreciate the difference.
In March, President Trump eased some of the sanctions pressure on Russian oil. Amid the Strait of Hormuz crisis, the world feared supply disruptions, prices were rising, and additional Russian barrels on the market seemed like the lesser evil compared to a new energy shock for Western economies.
For four months, this price panic remained one of the main protective mechanisms for the Russian budget.
This week, Washington and Tehran moved closer to a ceasefire agreement. If the deal currently under discussion is signed in the coming days, one of the main arguments against tougher measures targeting Russian exports will disappear.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian drones kept doing their job, methodically disabling Russian refining capacity even when it seemed that Russian oil was about to receive a green light.
And now Russia, which for decades has sold its energy might to the world, is forced to conserve fuel.
I will temper my optimism: the strikes have not broken the Russian system yet. But they are doing something else, perhaps something even more important - they are gradually exhausting its margin of safety.
The system continues to function, but it is already beginning to sputter, increasingly compensating for losses by drawing on reserves that aren’t infinite.
That is why the tone of the summit has changed - and not only because of the situation around Iran.
It has changed because more and more indicators point to the growing cost of the war for Russia. When internal vulnerabilities combine with external pressure, the "Russia is not winning" formula ceases to be a political declaration and increasingly begins to look like a description of reality.
The second half of 2026 will be considerably more difficult for the Russian economy than the first. But "more difficult" will turn into "unbearable" only under one condition: if the political signals from Évian are translated into concrete decisions.

For the first time in history, the AI developed by Ukrainians independently decided to destroy Russian military personnel👍
Autonomous drones for the first time without the participation of an operator attacked and eliminated servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces.
During the experiment, 10 "Terminator" drones equipped with an artificial intelligence system were used.
According to the developers, the devices independently detected targets, identified them and made a decision to attack without any human control.
The operation took place as part of tests of new technologies for autonomous combat.
What do you think about such a decision by the AI?

Ukraine is not just defending itself - it is building the future of European security.
Ukraine’s “Luch” design bureau has signed a cooperation agreement with European missile giant MBDA, the manufacturer of Storm Shadow missiles and Aster air defense systems. Together, they are developing the long-range “Neptune-2.”
Ukraine’s Neptune missiles have already demonstrated their effectiveness, striking ammunition depots in Sevastopol, the Atlant Aero plant in Taganrog, and oil infrastructure deep inside russia. Modern variants have a range of up to 1,000 km and carry a 260 kg warhead.
This partnership is another sign that Ukraine is becoming an integral part of Europe’s defense-industrial base. In early June, MBDA also signed an agreement with Ukrainian Armor to cooperate on the production of drones and other weapons.
The lesson is clear: the free world is stronger when it invests in Ukraine. Ukraine is not only defending Europe today - it is helping build the arsenal that will protect Europe tomorrow.

Today, the 21-year-old soldier, call sign “Ksena,” pilots FPV drones with the 127th Heavy Mechanised Kharkiv Brigade.
She joined the military under Ukraine’s 18-24 contract programme and mastered a new weapon in less than a year.
Behind every Ukrainian fighter is a person who once had ordinary dreams — and was forced by Russia’s war to defend them with fire.

#FlavioPresidente22
❗️Codified 🇺🇦Ukrainian DRAGON air defense systems have already been deployed to protect Ukraine’s airspace.
In particular, these SAM systems are being used to destroy Russian Shahed-type drones.
The DRAGON launcher is equipped with three air-to-air missiles featuring infrared homing seekers.
"Ukraine would continue targeting Russian energy and military infrastructure."
"Russian aggression can and must be stopped only by force."
- Zelensky 🇺🇦
Drones were again targeting Russian territory at night. The targets are oil refineries, warehouses, and manufacturing plants. These are the ones financing the war.!
Ukraine is defending itself!🇺🇦
❗️At night near the village of Voinka (Krasnoperekopskyi district, temporarily occupied Crimea), a bridge over the North Crimean Canal was attacked. One of the slabs collapsed and a crack appeared. Traffic on the bridge has been completely blocked.
🚀❗️ Russian medium-range Oreshnik ballistic missile has serious accuracy problems due to manufacturing difficulties and a shortage of relevant equipment, including gyroscopes, - Dallas Analytics.
The investigation notes that one of the key vulnerabilities of the missile is the GU-503 gyroscopic device, which is part of the guidance system. This component comes from old Soviet developments, and its production and maintenance face technological problems.
The material emphasizes that even minor errors in the operation of the gyroscope can lead to a significant deviation of the missile from the intended target at long distances.
Because of this, some launches of the Oreshnik ended with the destruction of objects far from the planned coordinates.
Dallas Analytics also published documents indicating problems with the production and calibration of the GU-503.
Here's how bad things are for the occupiers in Crimea right now:
🔹Motorcycles and mopeds at night are banned because they sound like drones
🔹Air raid sirens stay off because there are so many drones they'd be sounding nonstop
🔹Tourists are staying home due to lack of fuel
