The state rested this afternoon after calling 21 witnesses. It was rather shocking to many in the courtroom.

The defense then made a motion for a directed verdict. They stated that the prosecution did not meet their burden of proof. It was denied by the judge.

The defense then continued with their own witnesses. It will not be long now.
