On 14 August 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the 140 Bn CRPF, along with civil authorities and enthusiastic school children, proudly organized a grand "Har Ghar Tiranga" bike rally to celebrate unity and patriotism as the Tiranga flies high in every home.

"On the occasion of 80th Independence Day celebrations, a Special Cleanliness Drive under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative was successfully organized at Dalubari Market by The140 Bn CRPF, in collaboration with the Ambassa Municipal Council, from 0700 hrs to 0800 hrs today."

A vibrant Har Ghar Tiranga Mass Rally was conducted with active participation of 140 bn CRPF from Dalubari to Town Hall, Ambassa,along with the staff of Ambassa Municipal Council , BSF, Civil Police and members of local civil society from 1000 hrs to 1200 hrs today.

As part of the nationwide Van Mahostav campaign, a tree plantation programme was organised at 140 BN CRPF Headquarters, Dhalai, Ambassa, Tripura. The event was led by Shri. Jasvir Singh Commandant, who planted saplings alongwith other officers and jawans of the Battalion.

Inter Bn/GC Volleyball Tournament–2026 was successfully organized at 140 Bn (8-9 May). In a thrilling final, 124 Bn defeated 140 Bn to lift the trophy. Sh. Munna Singh,Comdt.,140 Bn, congratulated all players for their excellent team spirit & discipline throughout the tournament.
