@javisaidathing@UbermenschMind What’s wrong in paying more taxes to live in nice places. Money sitting in the bank won’t have as much impact on your life as actually living in a place you enjoy.
Stop distracting yourself while eating. No videos and no music. Just you and your thoughts.
Sitting in silence with your meal will make you realize how lonely you actually are.
@yonann I can see where he’s coming from. Would you rather have your future generations be financially free or live an extra 20 years and have your family start back at zero?
@ulyssescapital@W98AB I believe he did it to help clean his company’s reputation to gain trust from new partners and banks. Also to cover his ass from legal implications from previous partners. So not really a fame grab but rather a damage control job.
@Mr_Blue_Tiger@simonsquibb Maybe she wants to make a living playing the piano which comes by being famous? And by having playing piano as her job she can have more time to “master her craft”.
Let me get this straight:
The U.S dollar was strong because it was the currency oil was traded in.
Then, bitcoin tanks and Trump begins to build a bitcoin reserve.
Then, the war Iran disrupts trade of oil.
Now, ships have to pay a fee to cross the Strait of Hormuz… in bitcoin.
Was this all a ploy to initiate the bitcoin and digital currency use.
Hot take: We messed up getting rid of landline phones.
Idk… back then, when you weren’t by the phone, you were actually unreachable. No emails. No “quick question.” No work at 10 PM.
Now work and stupid notifications follow me everywhere. Dinner. Bedtime. Even on vacation.
I feel like we didn’t just gain convenience but we also lost our boundaries.
Honestly… landlines made it much easier and should make a comeback.
@asimbawe I think the reason we are so nostalgic so soon is because it’s not based on years alive but rather the speed at which the world develops. With technology everything is changing and developing at an exponential rate.
