One of my "racist but in a weird way" takes is that all the European males who look like the guys fighting my ancestors in old paintings died in WW1 and WW2.

You are lucky you can walk with him. My son's GS would drag me down the block. I still love her, though. She is a very good house guard. Be prepared for clouds of fur during the spring and summer.
I AM 74 AND I ADOPTED A GERMAN SHEPHERD WHOSE OWNERS WANTED TO EUTHINIZE HIM.
When my son called me about Hunter, my heart broke. A young couple had brought this beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd to the shelter, asking to have him euthanized because they were moving and couldn’t “handle a big dog anymore.” A dog they had fostered since he was a puppy — they just tossed him aside like he didn’t matter. The shelter refused, of course, and kept him, but when I heard the story, I couldn’t stop thinking about him.
I told my son I wanted to adopt Hunter, but he was hesitant. “Mom, he’s a big dog — what if he’s too much for you?” he said. But I’ve had big dogs before, and I know how to handle them. Plus, when I met Hunter, I saw right away that he’s a gentle, obedient soul. I brought him home that day. Now, Hunter follows me everywhere, curls up at my feet, and watches over me like he knows I saved him. It's hard to imagine anyone seeing him as a burden.
He's my family now, and I'll never let him go. 🐾 🥰 ~Credit: Nice Pets Via FB
Pardon my lack of expertise, but as someone who studied architecture for seven years, I believe that if I had submitted this as a library design for a project, it would likely have been rejected. It seems that the firm designing this library for Obama may have confused it with a feed storage facility. The structure lacks aesthetic appeal and any distinct architectural style or significance.
IMHO and experience, NO computer should be used in ANY stage of the voting process—no scanners, counters, tabulators—whatever they want to call them. The electronic poll books and ERIC and First Net should/must go too. Paper ballots are useless without hand counting. @pjcolbeck@PatriotMarkCook@BevHarrisWrites
To be honest, I didn't even know Vancouver Parks and Recreations had avowed me, so the disavowal hasn't been much of a blow. Next time, send me a certificate of avowal, wait until I've proudly framed it, hung it over my PC and taken a selfie with it, THEN revoke it.
