@spargelkult That’s interesting! I didn’t know that. I guess I need to play. I think some of the choices made in III were simplifying in a positive way (including builds), and I’m curious now about what an even more austere approach might yield…
@spargelkult Very nice! I understand that. Unfortunately this series uses chance as incentive and as a ramp. The grind is the game. It’s a casino. This is laid bare at higher difficulties (where build and equipment, which is randomly acquired, make a world of difference). Are you enjoying IV?
@spargelkult Is Diablo IV as gear/loot dependent as Diablo III? There’s a similar tension there until you acquire enough equipment (Season Journey simplified that process). It behooved you to play ahead on difficulty, because rewards (experience and gold), drop rates were greatly increased.

@mycheesemonster I’m by no means an expert, but https://t.co/qc8TwtFmjt is a great place to start. When desperate, YouTube often has samples you can download as, or convert to, audio. It’s probably not as convenient as a library, but they’ve been indispensable in my limited use for music/drama.
A kind of refuge exists in the Heart of the City, kept cold from thin green blood coursing through frigid metal veins, and kept pumping by a potential for exalted commerce within its hallowed atrium, awaiting rational actors who would not burn like insects in the relentless sun…
