Thinking about how we hold the messiness of our lives before God; resisting the temptation to fix/ un-knot the tangle ourselves but surrendering it to God. And trusting. #churchunplugged#encounter
It’s all about relationships at the end of the day. Relationships take time though & often it is easier to set up a project that “solves” the problem. What would it look like if the church committed to relationship-building (not on our terms) with people who are marginalised?
Minority movements can take risks, & aren’t afraid to ask difficult questions because they don’t have as much to lose. Minority movements can be creative, prophetic & hopeful. #fromtheedges#freshthinking#fragile
Great to be hosted again by @SpurgeonCollege for the Crucible Course. Looking at marginality; edges & how we respond to those experiencing marginalisation. As the church in the UK increasingly becomes an ex-majority minority might we be better placed to identify with the margins?
