This is why I hated hanging out with cokeheads at the punk and metal shows. Same thing but they will say it out loud and stand one inch from your face to talk to you.
ADDERALL AFFIRMATIONS:
- I AM A FUCKING WEAPON
- I AM FUCKING INVINCIBLE
- I AM NOT HUMAN
- I AM A PERFECTLY DESIGNED TOOL
- EVERY CELL IN MY BODY IS SCREAMING AND FIGHTING
- I AM NOT A HUMAN
- I WILL TEAR MYSELF OPEN AND BECOME SOMETHING GREATER THAN ALL THIS
My eight year old daughter sat down and played Mega Man 2 her first Mega Man game last night. She persevered to crawl a bit further in each of the stages she liked. It was fun to see. I played it when I was 5 years old for the first time and it was a similar experience.
I am what you might call a willing "useful idiot" of the BrOSR. I am not in any of their clubhouses but am more like a sleeper cell who has gone out into a world of perpetually drying paint and soup aisles to militantly affirm their presence on their behalf.
Britannia has a lot of towns on islands so the campaign will also use the naval and air travel rules as there is going to be a higher level of faction and troop movement orders happening at sea.
I'm building this map largely modelled after Britannia from Ultima. We have had some discussions as a group this week which has led to me scrapping the original idea for our second campaign in favor of something more traditional in tone to AD&D's implied setting.
@Bdubs1776 My cousin and I went to see this out of complete boredom in the theater not expecting much. I was really shocked by how good it was. Definitely my favorite Tom Cruise performance as well, and just a beautifully shot and edited film.
This sums up my feelings on what I term BrOSR apologetics - people who support or circle the BrOSR but are constantly trying to soften their influence. The article was a testimony against doing that in favor taking them 100 percent at face value. I hope others follow suit.
Most of my writing is fairly stream of consciousness. I can usually develop a theme that ties everything together on the fly with a decent cadence as I write. The Jeffro article was a different beast that evolved gradually. It was a lot of fun to write. It just took a long time.
On Compleat DM today: The Return of Jeffro Johnson
Big thank you to both Jeffro and to @Bdubs1776 who helped tremendously to make this article possible.

After many hours of writing end editing, an over two months of collaboration, my latest article is finally ready for publishing. Just needs some links and some aesthetic touch ups.
@crescendogames9 You have made an assumption that merely being poked at is what gets under my skin, and it's not. Believe me, I've taken many licks. This is not the only space I am or have been public on. So have at er. You haven't demonstrated a detestable core to your character so it's fine.
Look guys we aren't asking for much. All you need to do is stop being a loser with no friends whose entirely personality is bitching about a game you don't even play. It's a very low bar and correctable if you have a personality slightly more interesting than a lump of clay.
I thought I just didn't like fantasy much, Tolkien notwithstanding, until I started reading more pulp and otherwise older, cheap fantasy novels. They are really where it's at. Straughtforward quick reads. Like a good 87 minute runtime on a some old straight to VHS movie.
@crescendogames9 I laugh at myself aplenty, believe me. I am an auteur, a brechtian, a renaissance man of self-deprecation. Regardless of Daniel being on my radar this week, I have a long history of making posts like this. Because it's fun. So you can either chill or toddle off to your corner.
It's bad enough that it's peanut butter and jelly but the most heinous part is the crust removal. Whatever this phenomena is it's the same reason there is Kraft Dinner soda now and that people still buy Pringles
