Things are finally back at normal. Yesterday we updated apps with a workaround to deal with previously mentioned iTunes server misconfiguration, and today Apple finally resolved the root cause. So all in-app purchases are accessible again.
@ninobeatz@AppStore Apparently the problem is an incorrectly configured HTTP redirect of https://t.co/r6eqL2OfrF, at least we got some signal from Apple that they are aware about it, but no response yet whether we can expect this being fixed soon.
We received numerous reports that people are currently unable to download our in-app purchases due to connection problems to App Store servers. According to Apple's status page they had an outage which is said to be resolved, however apparently it is not:

@ninobeatz@AppStore Update: it appears to be a regional issue? We got feedback that all App Store and iTunes services work fine in the North American region, whereas in Europe it does not.
Unfortunately we can't reach anybody at Apple by phone during the weekend, so we were only able to send them an issue report by now to let them know that issues with App Store services still persist. We keep you updated.
The download services of Colossus Piano and XPad are finally back online. Sorry guys for the inconvenience this might have caused to you! Our online services are interrupted only very seldomly, and we never had such a long down time in all these years before. Again, sorry!
Currently the download services for our apps Colossus Piano and XPad are not available. We restore these download services as soon as possible. Other apps are not affected.
Upcoming new Audio Unit plugin version of XPad: effects and full sound controls via AU user interface. We plan to start rolling out updates of our apps next week.
The second IAA issue on iOS 15 only seems to affect GarageBand which seems to only allow to use one IAA client app at a time on iOS 15. If you are adding several IAA tracks with different IAA client apps, only the last IAA selected would work.
Inter-App Audio (IAA) users: please wait before updating your devices to iOS 15, as IAA currently does not work with iOS 15. This seems to affect all IAA apps, so it does not seem to be limited to our apps. We are currently waiting for feedback by Apple for more details.
... if you are seeing an IAA error like this one, there is a workaround by starting the respective IAA app as stand-alone app first. This IAA issue seems to affect all IAA host apps and all IAA client apps on iOS 15.
After review of Apple documents regarding upcoming CSAM scanner, some questions @Apple: Will you notify customers who falsely got reviewed by Apple staff? What's the resolution of photos in review?Does that mean Apple will finally no longer hold backup key on users iCloud backups?
