i am kind of obsessed with the idea of software becoming so abundant and open and malleable that you can just reuse and recycle anything for anything else. file my taxes in silent hill, write a novel in melee, fly an airplane in microsoft excel, video chat with minesweeper
no, I see your point. I thought at one point to count odd Vs even shaped shapes, and count up the lines, and that also gave me false positives. This comes from just seeing a lot of puzzle likes this, but orange is like, a really weird colour to have shown up, so I immediately have a feeling there was a colour relationship. option C basically makes this colour choices pointless, and that just would be really unusual - although still possible. the puzzle designers can throw rubbish at you sometimes
No, not really, I don't know a test like this, unless maybe your referring to sections on aptitude tests, but they've mostly been phased out . The mensa tests aren't like this either. irregardless, noticing the orange half, and the pairs of circles and squares, personally came quite quick, and I think you could answer solely of of that, without the column number relationship
@algebratrade@spenkeycel try to! You might think so, but this will mostly lead to multiple plausible answers. Also, this puzzle is quite generous in providing a progressive relationship between each 5 example squares, which lets you know there's at least one unchanging relationship
