@boriquagato My 30 year interest rate is 2.2% after the tax deduction. Real inflation has far exceeded 2.2%. My investments with the extra money I did not use to pay the bank, have gained close to 10x my interest rate. I will consider paying off my mortgage when that math goes against me.
