@reallyemo88 @Delta The correct thing happened per the contract of carriage you agreed to if you book a flight with a voucher if you cancelled it reverts to the original date or people could keep a voucher valid forever just by rebooking and canceling

@manishjain2901@AmericanAir And? He would need to contact the agency the ticket was booked through if not booked directly on AA. Either way rebooking is done on the next available flight with open seats in his original fare class. They are also not responsible for food/hotel vouchers
@Seth_Hall00@AmericanAir@Disney There is a reason they were not allowed to board. Usually they were not at the gate at least 15 minutes prior to departure per both the contract of carriage they agreed to and the boarding pass, no airline would provide vouchers for this
@wenarto@united If you purchased a basic economy then upgraded you are advised it doesn't change your boarding group. If you boarding last your original fare was basic
@AlexrOnWeb @united They can only assign what seats are open. Why didn't you or her select seats during booking like all the other passengers, if a basic economy fare was purchased you are advised not to purchase when traveling with kids as seats are not assigned until check-in. They are moving
