@HPbasketball With his last season being "lingering calf issues into a strained hamstring in the playoffs" + him starting this season already having lingering hamstring issues, this injury feels much more "is he ever going to be able to stay healthy again?" than "guys are going to get hurt"
5. Punish flopping. They used to do this more often, and I donโt know why they stopped. I want to watch basketball games, not ref-baiting competitions.
five changes I wish the NBA would make ๐งต
1. Have the 1-3 seeds draft their first round opponents from the 5-8 (or maybe 6-8) seeds. Itโs dumb that teams are often incentivized to lose games in the hopes of getting a lower seed. This way a lower seed is never better.
4. Stop rewarding offensive players for initiating contact. They mostly got rid of the most egregious instances of this already, but it needs to go further. If people would react like "are you serious" if you called it in a pickup game, then it shouldn't be a foul in the NBA.
