@westaustralian It’s just food. With a rapidly warming climate causing increasingly unpredictable climate events globally, your children and grandchildren might be very glad for the conversation about a variety of healthy protein options.
@TaskerLady89977 So no country should support organisations supporting children suffering in a war zone in case it’s compromised? While Israel has people go into a hospital in a completely different area not under HAMAS and assassinate patients? Mmmm
@clearticulation@Ron__Jon8s And the worst part is Julia Gillard’s price on carbon was specifically designed to look after everyone. Now the people who destroyed it are the rich people utilising the new technology. The same people who convinced you to vote against it. Now it will be the tax cuts. Enjoy.
You may remember that before Christmas I let you know about an emergency decision I made to save the Red Handfish. I wanted to give you an update about how it’s going.
The Red Handfish is critically endangered. There are just 50 - 100 left in the wild.
So, based on expert advice, we removed 25 fish and housed them at breeding facilities in Tasmania during the expected summer marine heatwaves.
All are doing well. We’re hoping to return them back to their home before winter.
Can't think of a better way to celebrate Medicare's 40th birthday than at one of our new Medicare Urgent Care Clinics.
This clinic on the NSW Central Coast is already helping thousands of locals see a doctor for free.
Trouble offshore for @WoodsideEnergy and Saipem installing the Scarborough gas pipeline. Two serious safety incidents in a month, with one last night rupturing the pipeline, leading to a union call for immediate action from regulator @nopsema.

@wilburston@OMGTheMess@redacted65 Them are the mostly people on low wages caring for your aging parents, your kids in childcare and schools, you in hospital, policing, building your roads you drive on, the sports stadiums you go to. Get a grip with gratitude and living in such an extraordinary lucky country.
@OMGTheMess@redacted65 Aspirational in Australia is living off resource wealth, owning a big holiday home and a jet ski living in a house so big you can’t find your children. That benefits exactly no one.
@OMGTheMess Give me a break. Poorer people need every cent they can get right now. And what about the expert designed price on carbon even they agreed with, but just ripped up? Leaving us with a big hot expensive mess to clean up benefiting no one?
@realRick_AUS People like you don’t represent the Australia we used to be. A place where we valued fairness and equality. You are the new endlessly whinging angry money grabbing Australia, emerged from decades of LNP politics. Ugly as.
@Donsvess But people like you don’t represent the Australia we used to be. You are the new endlessly whinging angry money grabbing Australia, emerged from LNP politics.
@Donsvess Anyone who thinks it’s OK for some people to get richer and richer, supplying sub standard housing to people who can’t afford a house, is inviting more and more Australians to suffer. That’s not the Australia we used to be.
