A month ago, the Trump administration claimed to have identified 15,903 noncitizens registered to vote in Nevada. But during a meeting last week, DHS officials said they have identified just 185 so far, per emails and recordings of the meeting. @NYTnickc https://t.co/S197egn275
90% of why everything feels like it’s gotten worse than it was 20 years ago is summed up in the idea that it’s unfair to tax a hardworking, everyday American who owns a $5 million brownstone in a state they don’t live in.
Not one college is even in session.
Fishback got 28 votes in the FSU precinct. He’s currently at 10%.
Pay attention to those trying to push this nonsensical narrative trying to overemphasize an electoral group that doesn’t matter and pretend they represent the GOP.
Meet Natalie Harp, the aide so close to Trump she once rode in an SUV trunk to accompany him
“As the motorcade idled outside his Trump Tower residence, staffers confronted a more immediate problem: There wasn’t room for Harp, the hyper-loyal aide whose devotion to Trump had quickly entrenched her within his orbit.
A screaming match in the lobby ensued, with Harp insisting that Trump had personally asked her to attend the court appearance, two sources familiar with the matter told CNN. Denied a seat but determined not to be left behind, Harp jumped into an SUV trunk, according to the two sources and confirmed by a photo obtained by CNN.” W @adamcancryn

So this is pretty wild: A polling firm that came out of nowhere to show Francesca Hong with a 23-point lead over David Crowley in the Wisconsin primary has shut down and said its whole operation was bogus
The Donald Trump movement has *always* stood for respectful treatment of political opponents in general, and women in particular and that’s why people are so mad at Ossoff today in a way that is totally sincere and on the level.
Ossoff: When he first announced the tariffs, you remember that? He called it Liberation Day, and it crashed the markets because it was clown policy. You remember that?
OK, so follow me through on this. He announces the tariffs on April 2 of last year. The markets tank nonstop for like a week because it’s a disastrous trade policy, and six days into the crash, April 8, Trump buys millions in stock. I’m talking Amazon, Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, Berkshire Hathaway, and then the very next morning, April 9, he posts on Truth Social, quote, “This is a great time to buy.” Three exclamation marks.
OK, now listen to this. Three hours and 41 minutes after that post, one day after he bought millions in stock, he canceled the tariffs and triggered one of the biggest same-day rebound rallies in market history.
He’s trying to get money. And you saw, now he’s offering paid subscriptions to presidential announcements, right? Just understand what’s for sale here: The sitting president’s pronouncements on war and peace and economic policy delivered first to paying customers.
What an absolute crook.
@BenaiahNee@neeratanden I actually think if you can accurately portray your opponent as selling out and turn the money they raise into a weakness, even if you don’t raise as much it’s still a greater advantage for you because your message is more meaningful to people.
Kroger spent years cutting hours, thinning out departments, adding more self-checkouts and asking fewer people to do more work. You can make that look great on a spreadsheet for a while.
Then one day you look up and realize the customers started shopping somewhere else.
Tune in to News 12 on September 28th and PIX11 on October 14th to watch me hold Mike Lawler accountable for failing the Hudson Valley, voting with Donald Trump 100% of the time, and defending domestic abuser Max Miller.
See you soon, Mike!
They'd be beyond lucky to have Jennings, he's very smart and knows how traditional Washington and MAGA world work, and he is an outstanding communicator. Though I'd be stunned if Scott would do it.
Spencer Pratt would be fun. I have no beef with him, but this is not exactly his wheelhouse.
Kari Lake would be a hilarious disaster. She's a good talker but she is an amazing liar and limelight hog. The press would hate her - hardly uncommon- but also not respect her. Trump doesn't mind crazy in his administration, but he can't stand crazy that he doesn't care about and embarrasses him. It would just be a huge mistake. On the other hand, she is a good looking woman.
So obviously Kari Lake is the one to bet on.
A reminder of why Wisconsin, unlike many states, has this elongated process of waiting for absentee ballots: The GOP has refused to change the law to allow mail to be processed earlier (and then Republicans use that to baselessly suggest fraud).
President Trump said he’ll sue @amprog over this report that found the National Guard’s presence in several American cities hasn’t reduced violent crime.
The president — and any of us — can disagree with the report, but the answer is to refute findings with data, not lawsuits.
Alarmingly, Trump threatened to add some of the center’s donors to the lawsuit. Threatening non-profit donors sends a chilling message: Fund an organization that criticizes me, and you’ll be sued too.
That’s wholly incompatible with a free society.
Former Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin has won the Democratic nomination in Connecticut’s 1st Congressional District, ousting longtime U.S. Rep. John Larson, who had held the seat for nearly 30 years. https://t.co/5zZLXwPgA6
