Hello Mobilexyz'ers! ๐
Due to community feedback in our discord, some friends have suggested we sunset our "Trivia thursday" evening posts. These events were designed to boost awareness of Mobilexyz's emerging tech stack, and successfully drove significant engagement.
Given this feedback, we're pausing "Trivia thursday" for now. If enough of the community wants it back, we'll definitely consider reinstating it, as the initiative showed solid metrics ๐ช and have helped with understanding.
Important update regarding access: After much analysis, as Mobilexyz's web interface launches, it will initially be unavailable (web interface only) to users in European jurisdictions due to evolving EU privacy regulations. However, the Mobilexyz protocol will remain fully accessible through API endpoints and direct integration using keypairs, unrestricted by region. This privacy concern applies to end users accessing through the web interface in Europe only.
We're incredibly grateful for your diamond-handed support as we continue building and shipping various parts of the new and transformative Mobilexyz protocol. WAGMI! ๐ฅ
MobileXYZ $mxyz Announces First AI Partner Integrations, Plans MCP Connectivity for the Mobilexyz web3 protocol
TORONTO - June 19, 2025 -- MobileXYZ today announced its first phase of web3 protocol integrations, presently available through API endpoints, primarily focused on artificial intelligence and LLM partners, while also announcing plans to develop Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectivity capabilities.
"After two months of protocol operations, our API endpoints are able to allow partners to enhance their AI systems with real-time web3 social context, and some limited spatial context," said Jeffrey Peterson, Lead Dev at MobileXYZ. "While the initial availability of the Mobilexyz protocol is through API endpoints, we recognize the growing importance of MCP connectivity in the AI ecosystem."
The protocol's initial integrations focus on enabling AI and LLM partners to:
- Access real-time web3 social feeds aggregated from publicly available sources for enhanced context
- Access limited real-time spatial awareness data
- Incorporate dynamic environmental context
- Utilize multi-dimensional spatial relationships
"AI systems need more than just coordinates - they need to understand, and perceive spaces the way humans do," Peterson noted. "Our protocol is being developed to provide that crucial layer of context, from immediate real-world characteristics to social and historical meaning."
The development of MCP connectivity demonstrates MobileXYZ's commitment to expanding accessibility options for AI integration and ultimately, the robotics sector. This capability will allow AI systems to interact with the protocol's spatial awareness features through natural language interfaces, making the protocol's capabilities even more accessible to the growing ecosystem of AI agents and LLMs.

MobileXYZ $mxyz Releases Updated Protocol Whitepaper Incorporating Significant Testing Insights
TORONTO - MobileXYZ today announced the release of version 1.1.0 of its protocol whitepaper, incorporating insights gained from recent testing, development and partner feedback. The updated whitepaper further addresses the limitations of traditional geo-positioning systems and introduces enhanced capabilities for real-time spatial awareness.
"Many of today's digital systems still rely on geo-paradigms first designed in the 1700s - we're addressing this massive overlooked gap," said Jeffrey Peterson ("JP"), Lead Dev at MobileXYZ.
"Our testing continues to demonstrate that emerging AI systems, drones, and robots are going to need much more sophisticated spatial awareness than simple coordinates can provide. We're addressing this gap by creating a protocol that understands locations not just as coordinates, but as dynamic spaces with multiple layers of meaning."
Key updates to the whitepaper include:
Enhanced vertical positioning capabilities with high-resolution XYZ coordinate systems
Integration of web3 social protocol streams for enriched spatial context
Expanded data sourcing from public sources and open web3 networks
Comprehensive real-time use cases for drone operations and robotics coordination
"A drone needs to know more than just coordinates," Peterson noted. "It needs to understand if a location is a designated landing zone and what may have changed about it in the past few days or hours or even minutes."
The updated technical specifications detail how the protocol maintains clarity about precision levels in different regions, acknowledging that data quality and update frequency will naturally vary by location. The document also strengthens the explanation of blockchain integration, specifically addressing the requirements for high-performance processing of machine-to-machine transactions.
"Our testing has shown that the web3 social protocol streams will likely demonstrate utility before our location data streams fully mature," Peterson added. "This aligns with our strategy of building something that's immediately useful while growing toward our longer-term vision."
The revised whitepaper is available at https://t.co/PnanuT1cDW

MobileXYZ Announces Forthcoming Protocol Enhancements and Development Progress
June 5, 2025
The following are excerpts from an upcoming interview with MobileXYZ lead developer, "JP:"
"We've been reflecting on our first significant protocol data growth, and it's been encouraging to see how the initial implementations are performing. The Mobilexyz protocol is indeed generating some spatial data structures from existing web3 social data, although not enough for meaningful real-world usage, but it's fascinating to see it take shape. We've identified several enhancements that will make the protocol more robust and efficient for the applications we're seeing emerge. We will revise the Mobilexyz whitepaper with those, soon."
"The revised whitepaper will include optimizations to the datastruct format. It is also apparent we are going to need to enhance validation mechanisms for multi-contributor spatial data - making it easier for multiple sources to collaborate on building accurate spatial awareness while maintaining data integrity beyond what was initially proposed. Data integrity is a really important consideration."
Enhanced Protocol Architecture and Real-World Applications
JP outlined how the data growth that has occured so far within Mobilexyz's protocol has informed improvements that will be detailed in the upcoming revised whitepaper.
"It is interesting to see how when building these kind of data layers, certain types of spatial data update in many different ways - as one simple example, much more frequently than others. We're refining the whitepaper and overall specification with a priority system that handles these different update cadences more efficiently."
"We're also making progress on a web front-end that will allow end-users to publish data directly through the MobileXYZ protocol. While the protocol itself doesn't require a web interface - and we expect most commercial applications will integrate directly - having an accessible web interface will help spatial data contributors get started more easily and it will be interesting what is built with it."
Building Towards Practical Implementation
The development team is focusing on tools that enable broader participation in spatial data creation while maintaining the technical precision needed for autonomous systems.
"I've mentioned since we started developing the Mobilexyz project, this is infrastructure that is being developed for both humans and machines," JP noted. "The protocol specifications handle the technical requirements for precise spatial awareness, while interfaces like a web front-end, for this period in tech development, and whatever comes next in the future for humans, makes it practical for people to contribute their present and historical knowledge about spaces. Both are necessary for creating the dynamic, intelligent spatial understanding that next-generation systems will need."
The revised whitepaper and a minimal web front-end are expected to be released in the first half of this month, marking continued progress toward MobileXYZ's vision of enabling pathways towards human-like spatial awareness and comprehension for autonomous systems, AI, and robotics applications.

Important from Mobilexyz community member @DineroDom0
๐By designing Mobilexyz to be compatible with NOSTR keys, anyone who already uses NOSTR can instantly access Mobilexyz's services as they become available without burdensome new setup.
This gives Mobilexyz access to a significant base of users on day one, instead of starting from zero and having to teach everyone about crypto keys ๐๐
