𝗣risoned by a body I cannot escape.
𝗜 fade before the day begins.
𝗟oneliness gathers in the dark.
𝗟ife moves without me.
𝗢nly the pillow stays close.
𝗪hile I decay in silence.

Flowers grow, petals flow,
Light winds whisper, warm and slow.
Skies turn bright from silver snow,
Nature wakes from winter’s low.
Morning light begins to glow,
Golden hours drift below.
In every seed, new dreams bestow—
Life returns in spring’s soft show.
One is the earth beneath my feet,
the one that steadies my steps.
The other is the storm within my soul,
the one that moves like me.
They hold me in different languages:
one in calm, in silent strength;
one in chaos, in true reflection.
And I am fluent in both.
“You’re human — not a machine. It’s okay to take a rest, to feel lost, unmotivated, or even disconnected for a while. These moments don’t mean you’re failing. They’re just part of finding your way back.”
I see — but the light stays veiled from me.
I hear — but the world responds in silence.
I smell — but no scent awakens memory.
I taste — but no flavor stirs my tongue.
I touch — but meaning slips through my skin.
Each sense awake — yet all dreaming.
They move where others stay.
They listen when others rush to speak.
Where most find stillness in agreement,
they carry the tension of movement.
Where others pause at the answer,
the #contrarian continues into the quiet—
into the space where meaning hasn’t settled yet.

𝗘yes drift softly toward distant skies
𝗦hadowed moments melt into the haze
𝗖hoices fade beneath what never was
𝗔nother world whispers through the veil
𝗣ulling away from the noise
𝗘vade from reality

Calm meets storm without fight,
acceptance softens resistance.
Tension melts into ease,
darkness yields to light.
Grip opens into release,
stillness tames the chaos.
A steady flame,
unshaken and clear.
This is freedom from fear.

𝗦omething in me holds the blame.
𝗢ver and over, guilt lingers.
𝗥emorse is my second language.
𝗥egret grows quietly inside.
𝗬et I wear it like a second skin.

I'm torn.
Everywhere calls.
Nowhere waits.
Each moment pulls.
My body hums.
My mind thins.
I crave stillness—
but chase the blur,
afraid to miss the spark.
I'm present.
I'm absent.
A ghost in the crowd.
A conspiracy theory emerges—
one mind pushes it away,
the other holds it close.
Neither mind finds full rest.
Both pull at the edges of belief,
spinning the tension that dwells within us:
between knowing and doubting,
between skepticism and faith.
#kaytpoemprompts
Two minds live inside us.
One moves by reason—
constructing clarity from fragments of proof.
It holds steady in logic,
finds comfort in the known.
The other moves by intuition—
unraveling meaning from the blur of feeling.
It leans into uncertainty,
drawn toward the unknown.
