A car dealer got HEATED after a customer pushed him to match a $54K consignment offer for his Mercedes C63, then refused to leave the car when the dealer finally agreed 😳👀😭
“So you’ll do it right now? Sign and leave it here?”
“Not today”
“Oh my God! I know, I’m killing you, bro. Are you serious? I’m the same customer that I hate”
20 year old perfume seller flew in from Miami with only a suitcase to buy a rare McLaren 720S he had never seen in person despite NEVER driving a supercar before 😳🔥
“I’m super excited. I haven’t even driven a supercar before, and I haven’t even seen the car. I pretty much saw it on your website and said, ‘This is it.’”
Car dealer caught a man using someone else’s $54,000 Hellcat listing to sell the car for $30,000, then he HUNG UP when asked why it was $24,000 cheaper 😳👀
“You can send the title when I send the wire? Yeah, I’m not going to be able to do that. Is there a reason it’s $24,000 cheaper than it is on Facebook right now?”
A car dealer bought a 2022 McLaren GT for $118,000 and tried to make $15,000 on a quick flip, but after revealing its Carfax report came from running over a broomstick, the buyer NEGOTIATED him down from $135,000 to $123,000 and left him with only a $5,000 profit 😭💰
“I own this McLaren GT for $118,000. Let’s try to make $15,000 real quick.”
“You know what, Cal? Fine, $123,000. You win this one. I’ll bill you out.”
“Sold for $123,000. Made five grand real quick.”
AN OPEN NOTE TO ALL RELEVANT AUTHORITIES IN GHANA
RE: UNCONTROLLED HAWKER ENCROACHMENT ON THE TROTRO LANE AT LAPAZ – AN URGENT ROAD SAFETY CONCERN
To the Ministry of Roads and Highways, Ministry of the Interior, Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council, Accra Metropolitan Assembly, Ghana Police Service, Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD), National Road Safety Authority and all relevant authorities:
For years, hawkers at Lapaz have continued to occupy an increasingly large portion of the trotro lane, gradually turning a designated traffic space into a trading area. Successive governments have come and gone, yet this situation remains largely unaddressed.
The question is simple: How long will law enforcement look on while a serious road safety concern continues to develop? Must we wait for an avoidable accident, injuries or loss of lives before decisive action is taken?
The encroachment obstructs traffic, creates unnecessary congestion and exposes drivers, passengers, pedestrians and the hawkers themselves to danger.
As Ghana approaches its 70th Independence Anniversary in March 2027, it is time to demonstrate that discipline, respect for public spaces and enforcement of our laws are not merely things we talk about but values we practise.
We therefore call on the relevant authorities to:
Immediately address the encroachment on the trotro lane at Lapaz.
Activate and sustain law enforcement to restore the road to its intended purpose.
Ensure that hawkers are directed to appropriate designated trading spaces.
Introduce regular monitoring to prevent a recurrence of this situation.
This is not a campaign against people’s livelihoods. It is a call for responsible urban management, public safety and respect for the rights of all road users.
Ghana’s 70 years of independence should be an opportunity to restore discipline and order, not continue to normalise lawlessness in our public spaces.
Let us act before tragedy strikes. Lapaz deserves better, and road safety must not be negotiable.
THE TIME TO ACT IS NOW!
