📣 ABANTE BABAE. PERIOD.
What we saw inside PBB wasn’t just drama— it was a reminder of how easily women’s boundaries get crossed and how often disrespect gets shrugged off as “joke lang.”
Let’s call it what it is. We all saw the circulating clips of some male housemates making green jokes and comments about the girls.
Kadiri. Walang humor sa pambabastos, at walang lugar ang ganitong klaseng biro sa kahit anong espasyo. If a woman feels uncomfortable, the conversation ends there. FULL STOP.
This is why the actions of Carmelle and Krystal hit harder than anything else last night’s episode. They stood firm. They protected each other.
This isn’t about hate. It’s about accountability—about making sure women don’t get minimized, sexualized, or turned into a punchline.
Women deserve safety. Women deserve space. Women deserve RESPECT—every time, from everyone.
And now, we say it loud: WE STAND WITH THE PBB GIRLS.
PBB TAKE ACTION

Society says that men need to be bigger and stronger, and they must protect their women and so on. We declare to you that women must not depend upon the protection of men, but must be taught to protect herself, and there we take our stand. As we saw on the episode last night it is a reminder to every man to be respectful and mindful in every action they make. 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏 𝐎𝐁𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐅𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍. Carmelle and other girls housemates deserve to be respected, and we should not normalize men making fun through 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐣𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐬. We applaud Carmelle and Krystal for their bravery to speak up and confront the people involved. We saw on the teaser her vulnerable side but it doesn't define her as a weak one it actually shows that she is a woman who valued herself.
Feminism isn't about making women strong. Women are already strong. It's about changing the way the world perceives that strength. We believe that each time a woman stands up for herself, she stands up for all women, and that's what Carmelle and Krystal did yesterday. She's a representation of a woman who is not afraid to speak up and stands for what she thinks is right.

As a community that values respect and dignity, we stand firm with the girl housemates who chose to voice out their concerns. Women should never be objectified, belittled, or made the subject of inappropriate or lewd remarks. No form of “green jokes” should ever be normalized especially in an environment that shapes the mindset of the youth.
@PBBabscbn as a program that influences and guides young Filipinos, it is necessary to uphold standards that teach housemates to view women not as objects, but as individuals deserving of respect and equal treatment. This season must mark the end of narratives that excuse men while placing disproportionate judgment on women. Such double standards are harmful, unfair, and should no longer be tolerated.
Women are worthy from the beginning—worthy of respect, protection, and the freedom to exist without fear of ridicule. Each time a woman stands up for herself, she stands up for all women.
ABANTE BABAE.
Let’s continue pushing for safe spaces and a culture that treats women right.
