Ripple delivers DLT and payment solutions with or without XRP as bridge asset. In that sense Ripple promotes the use of XRP.

@AlexCobb_ @zerohedge Read between the lines. He acquired the brand NOT the technology. He specifically chose the coin with large volume and least interests and holders as a base for his crypto ventures.
