Quick update on our near-term roadmap:
We are completing a comprehensive security review and related upgrades across both our application layer and the chain infrastructure underlying our planned launch. We also welcome community feedback and suggestions on the staking and governance proposal, which will help establish the foundation for ecosystem governance and the utility framework for $EDGE.
At the same time, we are optimizing liquidity with a focus on blue-chip crypto assets and RWA markets.
We plan to launch V2 on our new infrastructure, introducing more advanced features and a more seamless USDC-powered experience for deposits, transfers, and withdrawals.
We will move into the next phase of ecosystem growth, supported by stronger infrastructure, improved products, and a more aligned community consensus.
I think this is good news.
If the $EDGE token gets more use cases and holders can share in the exchangeâs real revenue, that becomes another major advantage.
If simply holding the token can generate income, that is a very strong appeal. A lot of people want buybacks, but realistically, it is hard to beat Hyperliquid, which is already the number one model using buybacks.
Just copying that approach would not be very attractive, and it would not be interesting either.
If holding the token can generate yield like DeFi, that would be great. In particular, people in crypto who want to earn a monthly income of 3k, 5k, or even 10k dollars may choose it as a useful farming option.
And since they would need to buy the token, you could even call that a kind of built-in buyback.
The token price would go up, and if holding that token also lets you share in the revenue, it becomes similar to running a DeFi strategy.
Of course, the biggest risk is the possibility of being hacked while staking, but now I finally understand why the team has been checking security so carefully lately.
At least from my point of view, this sounds like nothing but positive news. In fact, the token price has already recovered to a 1B FDV. I like it.
