This project applies human-induced regeneration to restore degraded rangelands in Upper Turon. By increasing tree cover and enhancing soil organic carbon, it transforms a fragile landscape into a productive carbon sink.

The results? Stronger biodiversity, healthier soil, and a more climate-resilient region—while creating jobs and strengthening ties between people and place. The work shows how well-managed rangelands can deliver real ecological and community impact.
